Month of red zone in my territory. Only my buzzards benefited. I photographed them in my small privately owned space, where they usually winter every year. With the advantage that, this year, the restrictions imposed for the current pandemic have made the place much "quieter" - especially due to the absence of hunters (and some poacher) around looking for sacrificial victims. This is why they frequent the perches that I have placed much more frequently for some years. In this month I have been able to observe a male buzzard and a female - both adults, the female probably in the second year. The male is very shy and suspicious, at the first shots he flies. The female, perhaps even for the younger age, however, is quite indifferent even to some longer bursts.

For the “red” restrictions I was able to follow the site very little. But I must say that the dominant feeling these days is another - I have a lot of trouble, in the last period, to want to postproduce and work my shots. If having some shooting opportunities, but even just stalking, is a sort of oxygen refill for me - I confess that I lack, however, much of that mental "freedom" to think about choosing, selecting, cataloging my shots. It is certainly one of the many unpleasant consequences of this singular historical moment that we are experiencing. However, these buzzards deserved a chance ... I hope it also applies to my shots.
